When using a common carrier with Freight and Shipping, Here are some useful tips for safe trasportation.

• All materials should be carefully packed and/or crated.
• Allow extra days over the quoted delivery time - it is best to ship to the warehouse as this offers a wider window for delivery. Allowing extra time for show site delivery will not work if you don´t have your booth when the show opens.
• Get a weekend phone number and contact name from the common carrier company.
• Be sure the company you contract with specializes in the trade show industry as they will have experience and be prepared to check into the marshalling yard and wait in lines.
• Be sure to provide your carrier with the address to the marshalling yard as well.
