Here’s a little Super Bowl trivia: Each teach is required to supply 12 new footballs for each game, but the total number of footballs is close to 120. Super Bowl footballs are 27 inches from end to end, and 24 inches around the middle.
They’re not little.
And, how do you suppose all those footballs – and helmets, and cleats, and pads, and jerseys, and pants, etc, get from city to city?
In a big truck, of course.
That’s right.
The Super Bowl is in Indianapolis this year, and the city has been spiffing itself up ever since the decision was made to hold the games there. Big trucks are thick in a big city, but when a city is prepping itself for the Super Bowl, you can quadruple the number of big trucks, and that’s just an estimation.
Big trucks have been shipping food, building supplies, renovation equipment, hotel supplies, paint, and everything under the sun that a person might need for a prolonged stay in Indianapolis and a good experience in the stadium.
Big trucks and sports. Big trucks shipping Super Bowl stuff.
You betcha! And FreightnShipping.com is delighted to be a part of this year’s Super Bowl!
